Wake Forest continues to grow at a rapid pace. We need to ensure we grow responsibly so we continue to provide amenities for our citizens, but also maintain our small town charm

As a former member and chair of the Wake Forest Parks, Recreation and Cultural Advisory Board, Thompson knows the importance of ensuring our sidewalks and greenways provide access to our parks. Additionally, they build community and support our area businesses.

When Thompson was on the Board of Commissioners from 2013-2017, he supported bringing Economic Development under the umbrella of the town and its reaped tremendous benefits. As Commissioner, he will continue to focus on ways grow our commercial tax base. 

 Infrastructure and technology are vital for Wake Forest's growth. Broadband access is no longer a luxury; it's essential for education, healthcare, and economic prosperity. Thompson is dedicated to expanding broadband and strengthening our infrastructure to ensure a thriving and inclusive community.
